2025 Fashion Show Was a Huge Success

The Scrapstore Fashion Show in Tavistock, held at the Bedford Hotel, was a memorable and highly successful evening. Throughout the event, creativity, sustainability and community spirit came together in a vibrant celebration of reuse and reinvention.

Set within the elegant surroundings of the Bedford Hotel, the show featured an impressive collection of original designs. Each piece used recycled materials, reclaimed textiles or repurposed garments. As a result, the event highlighted the exciting potential of sustainable fashion while showing how discarded materials can become something truly unique.

A Celebration of Sustainable Creativity

The runway came alive thanks to a fantastic group of models who confidently showcased every design. Their energy and enthusiasm added greatly to the atmosphere and ensured each creation received the attention it deserved.

One of the standout moments of the evening was the “Trashion” section. Here, students from Tavistock College presented bold and imaginative creations under the guidance of their teacher, Kirsty Lawrence. Not only did their work perfectly capture the spirit of the Scrapstore, but it also demonstrated remarkable creativity and commitment to sustainability.

Community Support and Collaboration

Events like the Scrapstore Fashion Show rely heavily on community support. Therefore, we would like to thank the Lions Club of Tavistock for their valuable assistance throughout the evening. Their contribution helped the event run smoothly from beginning to end.
