Donate to Tavistock Scrapstore

Donations play a huge part in helping Tavistock Scrapstore support creativity, recycling, and community projects across Tavistock and West Devon. Every donation helps us give useful materials a second life instead of letting them go to waste.

We welcome donations from everyone. Whether you are clearing out cupboards, tidying a craft room, or sorting a workspace, your unwanted materials could help inspire somebody else’s next project.

We accept a wide range of arts and crafts supplies. Popular donations include wool, cotton, fabrics, cloth, ribbon, buttons, paper, card, beads, and sewing patterns. We also welcome paints, pens, brushes, sewing machines, knitting supplies, and craft tools.

If you enjoy crafting, making, sewing, painting, or creating, there is a good chance we can make use of your unwanted materials. Our volunteers carefully sort and organise every donation before placing items in the shop for members and visitors to purchase at affordable prices.

Money raised through shop sales goes straight back into the Scrapstore. It helps us run workshops, support community activities, maintain the shop, and keep our doors open for local people who want affordable creative resources.

By donating to Tavistock Scrapstore, you help reduce landfill waste while supporting creativity and sustainability in the community. Every donation, large or small, helps us continue inspiring people through arts, crafts, recycling, and imaginative reuse.
